A quick update to keep you all in the loop with what we have been up to:

Whilst it may look like not a lot is happening through the winter, we can assure you we are hard at work supporting personnel behind the scenes, we are also frantically preparing for the next round of events and programs for 2017/18.

We are pleased to say we have some fantastic new support services, new fabulous fundraisers and new workshops coming on board Australia wide. 2018 is shaping up to be another big year for Sirens of Silence Charity with events and wonderful educational programs for all emergency service personnel to part take in throughout Australia.

We will be having a website overhaul, to bring our initial draft 'older style' web site into the bright future and beyond, please bare with us for now whilst this is being done in the background.

Stay on the look out in the 'Up and coming Events' listing for fundraising events and for your chance at volunteering opportunities with Sirens of Silence throughout the balance of 2017 and into 2018.

There's an awesome online sporting auction from Australian Football Coaches Association which is in support of Sirens of Silence Charity, to bid on these fantastic items click the link. Bidding Closes July 20th.

Stay up to date daily on our social media pages - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked In. Simply search Sirens of Silence Charity on all platforms.

2017 Just keeps getting bigger and better:

March saw the exciting release of our partnership with a fantastic community mental health initiative 'Black Dog on a Lead', the event is a community 6km walk set around Bibra Lake in Perth, designed to engage the discussion of mental health, this year the focus will be on raising awareness for our triple zero heroes, the 2017 event will be Sunday October 15th, the last Sunday of Mental Health week in Western Australia.

BDOAL have invited SOS to join forces and with that comes significant exposure and partnerships with their generous major sponsor 'Chandler Macleod' recruitment company. We will be meeting with Chandler Macleod executives in April to outline new pathways for our emergency service personnel to transition into new careers. We are super excited to be partnered with the wonderful crew at Black Dog on a Lead, for you to be a part of the community that saves those who save you, stay tuned for more information as the event draws closer.

Like Black Dog on a Lead on Facebook and stay up to date with all details of this years event

and engage in the open discussions regarding mental health.
