Tuesday 2 June 2020 FORTEM Australia coordinated “Thank a First Responder Day” to show their gratitude as a grateful community, and to publicly recognise the work of our first responders. Keeping with social distancing requirements, "Thank a First Responder Day" was this year in a digital platform (www.firstresponderday.com.au) with a website message board encouraging the community to leave notes, pictures, and videos of thanks for our first responder. "Thank a First Responder Day" is a day that belongs to the community and FORTEM Australia wanted as many members of our community to participate; to show just how much we, as a community, appreciate the work of our First Responders. We encouraged you to create a video or social media post to thank first responders in your area and post it on the day. Don’t forget to check out the messages of thanks on your social channels from 2nd June 2020 with the hashtags #TAFRD #ThankaFirstResponder Saturday 21 March 2020
